The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) hosted a delegation from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) on 7th April 2026 for an inspection of the Schools Medicine and Dentistry training facilities and their suitability to offer medical training at the University of Nairobi, Kenyatta National Hospital (UoN-KNH) campus.
Staff and students from the Faculty of Health Sciences joined other members of the University of Nairobi (UoN) on the 2nd April, 2026 in the annual tree planting exercise at the Faculty of Agriculture, Upper Kabete campus.
The event saw approximately 250 trees planted reaffirming the university’s commitment to upholding sustainability and environmental conservation.
Medical Error Reporting (MER) continues to be a challenge in health provision in Kenya and across the globe.
This is according to a recent study carried out by researchers from the University of Nairobi to assess the uptake, awareness and attitudes towards MER.
